Lottoland Hackathon 2019 — Alexa Lottery Experience

During the annual Hackathon, I collaborated with developers, Product Owners, Marketing, and BI to explore new product ideas and build a functional prototype. We focused on connecting Lottoland with Alexa and translating lottery use cases into a simple conversational experience.

Problem statement

  • Create a useful Alexa skill related to playing the lotto
  • Take advantage of the public move towards digital assistants (which arenʼt going to become self-aware and go all terminator on everyone)
  • Analyzed and facilitated customer's most desirable features when they were playing the lottery.

The concept explored how Lottoland accounts could connect with Alexa to enable personalized services. The proposed experience would provide tailored results based on previously purchased lottery lines, allow users to select favorite numbers, and support a more effortless way to interact with lottery services through Alexa.
